Great Harvest sweetens the holidays

Great Harvest Bread Co. of Saipan will offer holiday bread, goodies, gift baskets, and catering options throughout December.

Customers can find the perfect holiday gift for friends and family or help themselves to an assortment of treats to pair with a holiday meal.

The Asagio sourdough is back on the menu this season, made with asagio, cheddar, and extra virgin olive oil.

Great Harvest’s goodie collection includes pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, pecan bars, banana walnut muffins, and more. Some of the bestselling treats available this season include the Chamorro sugar cookie and the traditional oversized chocolate chip cookie. The bakery-café will offer additional, exclusive seasonal menu items, including the ginger bop cookies and St. Nickerdoodles.

“The winter holiday season is the time of the year to spend time with your loved ones, and create delightful memories over delicious food and sweet treats,” said Donovan Castro, Great Harvest baker. “We take pride in our handcrafted seasonal bread and desserts, and are honored to play a part in our customer’s holiday gatherings.”

The bakery-café will offer a selection of handmade gift baskets. The collection includes a pancake mix package, Cookie of the Day, biscotti and themed utensils.

Great Harvest will continue to serve breakfast, sandwiches, salads, and grain bowls throughout the day. (PR)

  1. The sandwiches are good but they ought to include a pickle, free. Last time I was there I brought a jar of Vlasic Kosher Dill spears and shared them with my companions.

The nice women at the counter said that they will be adding rye bread to their offerings. This is good! Now they need to include pastrami and corned beef. A pastrami on rye, with a pickle, would be heaven.
