HIGH SURF WARNING!
Big waves from ex-Typhoon Jelawat is hitting the Marianas tonight. From both the Ritidian Buoy and the Tanapag Buoy just west of the Saipan harbor, waves as high as 24 feet on Saipan and 18 feet off Ritidian are arriving on our shores. These large period wave will create extremely dangerous surf…so stay away from (especially the north facing) reefs! (National Weather Service Guam)
