This August will bring a new, vibrant school to Saipan.
The Isla Montessori School is excited to announce open registration for primary (ages 3-6) and lower elementary (ages 6-9) for the coming fall 2018/2019 school term.
All lead teachers at the school are Montessori-certified, have experience within the Saipan community, and have eight years or more experience working in a Montessori setting.
Isla Montessori believes in an authentic Montessori approach to education that assists children in navigating through self, community, environment, and cultural awareness so that they can become exceptional humans. The school commits to a partnership with the island community as resources in creating conscious and well-rounded adults. Isla Montessori is a community and teacher-run organization, dedicated to enriching the whole child, while maintaining academic rigor.
As a part of its partnership with parents and community, Isla Montessori will offer schooling from 8am to 3pm, and it also plans to offer an active and dynamic 3pm to 5pm after-school enrichment program to include local arts, language, music, etc. Artists, dance instructors, music instructors, and those interested in sharing local crafts and skills with the youth of the island are encouraged to inquire as the school forms this program. A full schedule will be available by Aug. 1, 2018.
