Pacific Fleet Commander visits Tinian

Harris was impressed to see how Marines participating in Exercise Forager Fury II cleared and repaired the four runways at Tinian’s North Field as well as the expeditionary conditions in which the Marines are operating. FF II allows MAG-12 to improve aviation combat readiness and will simulate operations in a deployed, expeditionary environment. Harris is the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, and Eyth is the commanding officer Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
