Pacific Fleet Commander visits Tinian
Adm. Harry B. Harris Jr., center, disembarks a MH-60S Seahawk helicopter at the Atomic Bomb Pits at Tinian’s North Field Dec. 10. During his visit, Harris was able to see how Marines participating in Exercise Forager Fury II cleared the runways at Tinian’s North Field. The purpose of exercise FF II is to employ and assess combat power generation and operations in a deployed, austere and unimproved environment. Harris is the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
