Joeten Motors has announced that it is offering a brand new 2020 Kia Soul as a hole-in-one prize in the 16th Annual Northern Marianas College Foundation Open Golf Tournament set for March 21 at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.
The event will be the first major golf tournament of the year. Proceeds from this year’s competition will go to NMC’s Super Typhoon Yutu recovery efforts. The super typhoon in 2018 destroyed more than 80% of the NMC campus.
“NMC’s Foundation Golf Tournament continues to raise funds that benefit students and their efforts to grow professionally,” Joeten Motors general manager Matthew Deets said. “We are proud to be part of this year’s tournament again with our company’s hole-in-one prize contribution.”
“Joeten Motors has consistently been a part of the success of NMC’s Foundation Golf Tournament, and we are glad the company is joining us this year as a major sponsor again,” said NMC interim president Frankie Eliptico. “Joeten Motors’ hole-in-one donation raises the excitement and anticipation of the tournament. We are grateful for their support.”
The 16th Annual Northern Marianas College Foundation Open Golf Tournament will be held on the east course of the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort. Showtime is at 6am, while shotgun start is at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.
First place winners in the men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights will each receive $500, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers, respectively. Hole-in-one prizes also include $5,000 each from McDonald’s and Pacifica Insurance. The tournament will also feature many other items such as raffle prizes like smartphones, hotel stays, meals, and much more.
