Tan Holdings will hold its annual walk in memory of former Tan Holdings executive John Pangelinan tomorrow, April 18, starting at 4:30pm.
This time, however, it will be called the JP and Cancer Alertness Walk to better represent the event’s campaign to spread cancer awareness to the community.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Commonwealth Cancer Association’s Marianas March Against Cancer.
Like previous years, the walk will start at the pavilion across the JP Center (named after John Pangelinan) in Garapan and end at the Susupe Beach Park just after the Kanoa Resort in Susupe.
The start time for the 5-kilometer walk is 4:30pm. A registration fee of $10 will be collected from participants with Tan Holdings employees needing only to pay $5 (The other $5 will be paid by their respective affiliates). The first 150 participants to sign up (whether Tan Holdings employees or not) will get a commemorative T-shirt.
The participation fee entitles participants to light refreshments and a raffle ticket after the walk. Transportation from the Susupe Beach Park going back to JP Center will be provided.
