Kagman High student registration Aug. 8 deadline

All new and returning students to Kagman High School should register by Aug. 8 for preferred scheduling! All out of zone students coming from Saipan Southern High School and Marianas High School, please register by Aug. 8 for preferential scheduling! All out of zone student files will be sent to the zoned school after Aug. 8.

Any students who are requesting for out of zone waivers must write a letter to the Commissioner of Education stating the compelling reason to grant the waiver. All letters that are received after August 8 will miss the student file transfer deadlines.

KHS parent, student orientation

Dear parents of Kagman High: High School orientation is an important day for you and your child. On this day you will be given information about the school’s programs and services. You will get an update on our achievement and goal attainment. We will announce important dates and most importantly we will be handing out student schedules. After the short orientation meeting in the cafeteria, parents and students are welcome to tour the campus and meet teachers before the opening of school.

– Seniors: Aug. 26, 2:30pm

– Juniors: Aug. 27, 2:30pm

– Sophomores: Aug. 28, 2:30pm

– Freshmen: Aug. 29, 2:39pm

If you have more than one child attending KHS, you only need attend one orientation. But if you come for two sessions you get two raffle tickets!

All parents who attend any KHS event earn parent participation raffle tickets for the end of the year raffle. These tickets cannot be bought; they can only be earned. How you earn them is by showing up and being part of the Ayuyu family through PTSA meetings, progress reports, orientation, family fun night and more.

Prizes for the end of the year raffle last school year were kitchen gadgets, gift certificates, garden tools, electronics such as Kindle Fire HDs and a flat screen TV! The more events you attend, the more tickets you earn. The more tickets you earn, the higher your chances are to win. Take a chance! Come to KHS events! (PR)
