Magazine’s Businesswoman of the Year program launches mentorship program
BARRIGADA HEIGHTS, Guam—Guam Business Magazine announced yesterday the launch of the Businesswoman of the Year Mentorship Program last April 27 at the 2019 Businesswoman of the Year gala at Hyatt Regency Guam.
The annual Mentorship Program serves to provide an opportunity for mentorship and development to former program scholarship recipients by connecting them with Businesswomen of the Year honorees of the Guam Business Magazine.
The program aims to add a further dimension for scholarship recipients; to provide a setting for businesswomen who have been awardees or recognized as nominees for their contributions to business to meet with young business professionals; and to create opportunities for scholarship recipients to engage in conversations with experienced and recognized leaders about (for example) professionalism, business practices and insights the mentors have gained that may be helpful to mentees.
