MP United on target; TanHoldings leads

MP United Football Club has scored the most goals in the boys U19 and co-ed U13 divisions of the 2020 NMIFA Spring Youth League, while TanHoldings Football Club is on top of the girls U17 age group.
After four matches in the co-ed U13 division of the league that has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MP United managed to collect 25 goals, just two more than the unbeaten and pacesetter TanHoldings Football Club. Matansa Football Club is the third team to have earned 20-plus goals in four games with its 21, while Kanoa Football Club and Shirley’s Football Club has nine and six, respectively. MP United also allowed the least goals so far, yielding six, while TanHoldings has given up seven. Matansa, Shirley’s, and Kanoa allowed 17, 25, and 29.
MP United is in second place in the team standings with its 3-0-1 win-draw-loss record, while TanHoldings is in first place with its 4-0-0 mark. Matansa owns a 1-1-2 slate for third place and is followed by Shirley’s (1-0-3) and Kanoa (0-1-3).
In the boys U19 division, MP United gained 27 goals to lead the group and gave up four (second best). Kanoa 1 and TanHoldings, which are ahead of MP United in the team standings, collected 20 and 19 goals, respectively, while the CNMI Boys U15 National Team tallied only eight and Kanoa 2 was limited to two.
Kanoa 1, though behind in goals scored is slightly ahead in the team standings with its 3-1-0 card. TanHoldings is at close second with its 2-2-0 slate, while MP United is also not far behind after taking a 2-1-1 card. The NMI U15 is ranked fourth with only one victory against three losses, while Kanoa 2 has yet to enter the win column this season.

In the girls U17 division, TanHoldings is on top both in the most goals scored (25) and team standings (4-0-0). Kanoa has the second best number of goals (17), but is at the bottom of the rankings with its 1-0-4 record. Southern United has logged only 11 goals, but is in second place in the leaderboard with its 3-0-2 card, while MP United has only one win in four matches and has delivered only eight goals.
