Flags return to full-staff today
All CNMI and U.S. flags that were lowered to half-staff starting since Nov. 11 as a mark of respect for the memory and longstanding service of Oscar C. Rasa will return to full-staff today, Nov. 19, at sunset. Rasa, the first speaker of the CNMI Legislature House of Representatives, died on Nov. 11. (Saipan Tribune)
Military to conduct training in Agat Bay
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. military will conduct training in the vicinity of Agat Bay in Guam on Nov. 20 from 5pm to 8pm. These types of trainings are designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity associated with the training. It is recommended the general public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories. (PR)
