NMA to hold virtual Turkey Trot

The Northern Marianas Athletics rescinded its earlier decision of canceling the 36th Mt. Tapochao Turkey Trot Run, but will only hold the race virtually.

Runners must complete the 4.2-mile race from Lower Base to Mt. Tapochao in a single run. The trek to the highest peak on island could be done from Nov. 25 to Nov. 28 and the finishers’ times must be posted via GPS tracking site. Results should be sent to NMA by Nov. 28 at 10am.

Registration will start today and should be made online. Link will be posted at the NMA Facebook page.

Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 finishers in the men’s and women’s divisions. Participants in the U18 age group must secure a parental/guardian consent before doing the race. All participants will be entered in a random raffle drawing and winners will be announced on NMA’s Facebook page.
