Northern Marianas College clarified yesterday a report in the Sep. 25, 2019, edition of Saipan Tribune regarding the completion status of the campus of Northern Marianas College. The headline stated “NMC campus 50% complete.”
The college’s Student Transition Center, a structure where students can study, eat, and wait for classes to start, is at 50% completion. The rest of the campus is still undergoing repair.
Northern Marianas College is also in the process of securing federal funding for the construction of new facilities after 80% of its buildings were destroyed by Super Typhoon Yutu in October 2018. (PR)
