Individuals who are interested in enrolling in Northern Marianas College’s spring 2019 semester can still apply for federal financial aid. This along with other topics will be discussed in the free NMC Info Session scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, March 7, 2019.
The information session will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at college’s Olympio T. Borja Library at the As Terlaje campus.
In addition to the admission process, the information session will cover financial aid options that are available for the spring 2019 semester. This will include the Federal Financial Aid program which uses the FAFSA.
The Federal Financial Aid program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Through the program’s various types of grants, loans, and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.
Attendees of the information session will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC’s upcoming spring 2019 semester, a savings of about $75.
The first day of classes will be on April 1, 2019, but interested applicants are encouraged to apply early to register for courses and for financial aid.
NMC offers several degree and certificate programs. For more information about registering for classes or to apply for admission, contact the college’s Office of Admissions and Records at 237-6768/6769/6771 or visit www.marianas.edu. (PR)
