Due to the considerable number of participants who attended its last information session, the Northern Marianas College will be hosting another info session for the upcoming fall 2019 semester on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at the NMC Olympio T. Borja Memorial Library at the college’s As Terlaje campus, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
The free session, which is open to all prospective students and community members, will provide information about NMC’s admissions process, finding money for college, and NMC’s various degree programs. It’s not too late to apply for financial aid for the fall 2019 semester.
Those who attend will also qualify to receive a waiver of NMC’s admission application fee and placement test fees—savings of up to $75.
College faculty, staff, and students from the different degree and certificate programs at NMC, as well as Student Services representatives from counseling, financial aid, and admissions offices will also be on hand to provide helpful information and answer questions.
NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); bachelor of science in criminal justice (through the University of Guam); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associates of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
