Public Square Rosary Crusade on Saturday
In celebration of the 98th anniversary of Apparition of Our Blessed Mother and the miracle of the sun in Fatima, Portugal, Dr. Celia Lamkin, Rosary Rally Captain for the CNMI and Guam, in collaboration with the El Shaddai Charismatic Group Saipan, would like to invite everyone to join the 2015 Public Square Rosary Crusade on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, from 11:30am to 1pm, at Minatchom Atdao Pavilion, across the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium, Beach Road, Susupe, Saipan. In Guam, the rosary crusade will be held at the Mayor’s Park Pavilion across ITC Building, corner Marine Corps Drive and San Antonio Road, Tamuning, Guam.
As of today, there are 14,432 rallies in the U.S. including Guam, Saipan, American Samoa, Hawaii, Africa and other parts of the world sponsored by America Needs Fatima.
The actual rosary rally starts at noon. This is very important as it is near the time when the miracle of the sun took place in Fatima in Oct. 13, 1917.
“We wish to honor Our Lady and Our Lord within this time frame,” said Lamkin.
This is the fifth year that Lamkin will be the Rosary Rally Captain. In 2011, Lamkin, together with the late Escolastica “Esco” Cabrera, held the rosary crusade in front of Mt. Carmel Cathedral in Susupe.
“This year has been a very tragic and traumatic year for my family because of the so many trials we have experienced and encountered, starting with the confinement of my father at the intensive care unit in a Manila hospital from January to February and April until his death on May 13, 2015. While I was still grieving, an oral surgery was done to my youngest son in June. Another tragedy came when my husband became sick in August and lasted for more than a month. I thought that was the last trial for this year. In September, I got sick, which could have warranted a major operation. I could not imagine myself with this sickness in addition to my heart condition and five heart attacks. Miracles happened. When we pray and trust God, nothing is impossible in His will. God is the greatest healer and best physician,” said Lamkin.
“I had the same experience in 2013 when my eldest brother was operated and diagnosed with stage 3A colon cancer and no chemotherapy was administered. During the 2013 Rosary Rally, the faithful and I prayed that he would be healed completely. It has been two years and my brother is still alive and had never taken any chemotherapy since 2013. This is a real miracle from God. Thank you very much our Almighty God! Thank you very much for the intervention of Our Blessed Mother,” added Lamkin.
