You may not know it but Saipan now hosts a medi spa.
Called Thrive, it is located above Paradise Dental Center along Middle Road in Gualo Rai, and the first on Saipan
A medi spa differs because it offers more than what a day spa provides, according to Donna Krum, who explained all these during the Rotary Club of Saipan meeting yesterday at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
A day spa offers facials, massages, waxing, etc. A medi spa, on the other hand, offers treatment like chelation therapy, hangover cure, jetlag cure, cool sculpting, and botox treatments.
Krum, who saw an entrepreneurial opportunity to start this business on Saipan, said that there aren’t any medi spas on island. (Kimberly A. Bautista)
