Saipan Soccer School hosts futsal tourney


Saipan Soccer School’s 2014 Christmas Youth Futsal Tournament kicks off today with four games scheduled at the TSL Sports Complex.

Lil’ Rascal and MP United U12 play in the curtain-raiser at 5pm. They are entered in the co-ed U12 division, joining Team Betde and Orange Rangers, who duel in the second match at 6pm.

In the girls U15, the Lady Blues takes on Girly Flowers and Rainbows at 7pm, while in the boys U15, Orange Rangers collide against Astig Futsal.

The two other teams entered the boys U15 are Real Crispy Pata and Matansa Blazers, which will have their first game tomorrow at 7:30pm. In the girls U15, Matansa Sparks and Orange Rangers complete the cast with the former debuting against Lady Blues at 5:30pm. The Orange Rangers will have its first game versus Girly Flowers and Rainbows in the third game at 6:30pm, while in the first match at 4:30pm, MPU faces Oranges Rangers in the U12 co-ed division.

Each division will have a double-round robin format in the elimination with the Top 2 teams advancing to the finals. (RBM)
