SCA now accepting appointments to ‘fix’ pets

Animal advocate group Saipan Cares for Animals is now accepting appointments to spay/neuter dogs and cats as a means to control the feral population on Saipan.
The spay/neutering services will be available on the second week of January 2020.

Saipan Cares for Animals is accepting appointments for spay/neuter surgery for dogs and cats on the following dates: Monday, Jan. 6; Friday, Jan. 10; Saturday, Jan. 11; Sunday, Jan. 12; and Monday, Jan. 13.

Getting your animal spayed/neutered is also called having them “fixed.” The increasing population of stray animals on the island is blamed on animals that are not “fixed.”
Call 488-2287 or 285-5448 for information and to schedule an appointment. (Justine Nauta)
