SFA fishing tourney gets support from Yamaha, Joeten Motors

The Saipan Fishermen’s Association in conjunction with Joeten Motors is sponsoring a

“Yamaha outboard raffle” as part of 2014 Saipan International Fishing Tournament activities.

“Yamaha has been a co-sponsor of the Saipan International Fishing Tournament for many years, by contributing prizes and other in-kind products,” Joeten Motors manager Peter Tenorio said. “Our company is also offering all Yamaha owners a parts and service special this month. It’s a good time for the fishermen to prepare their boats and engines.”

SFA president Gene Weaver expressed appreciation to Joeten Motors and Yamaha for their support and contribution to the upcoming Saipan International Fishing Tournament that will be held on July 19 and 20.

“The addition of the ‘Yamaha outboard raffle’ is a fun way to participate in this year’s tournament. “Everyone can purchase a raffle ticket, you don’t have to be a participant in the SFA tournament,” Weaver said.

Raffle tickets for the “Yamaha outboard raffle” are just $5 each and you do not have to be present to win. Drawing will take place on July 21 at the SFA Awards Banquet. The Yamaha outboard motor is a 25 horsepower, four-stroke engine, which is valued at about $5,000.
