SHRM Guam donates school supplies, $1.5K

HAGATNA, Guam—The Society for Human Resource Management Guam Chapter and its members recently donated $500 worth of school supplies and a check totaling $1,500 to Catholic Social Services.

SHRM Guam Chapter members donated a variety of school supplies to assist Catholic Social Services reduce the burden on their clients with school-age children with much needed supplies.

The SHRM Guam Chapter recognizes the interdependency and close-knit nature of our small island community. Chapter leaders supported the initiative to provide financial support to Catholic Social Services whose mission is to “encourage the development of the spiritual, intellectual, economic, and social wellbeing of families, persons with disabilities, abused adults and children, the elderly, the homeless, and others in need of services” while respecting the “dignity of persons of all ages.”
