Instead of Trench Tech’s Vince “The Clinch” Masga, Fight Shop’s Dennis Cruz will be taking on Marianas Elite’s Irvin Saralu in the 150-lb weight class in Trench Warz 15: Supremacy set for Friday, Dec. 16, at the Royal Taga Ballroom of the Saipan World Resort.
Meanwhile, Masga, who has a 1-0 win-loss record, will be paired against Marianas Elite’s Danny Agulto also at the 150-lb weight division.
Other recent editions to Trench Tech Purebred Promotions’ mixed martial arts event includes Guam’s Ryan Toves of Dededo’s Lights Out Gym clashing with Marianas Eliet’s V.J. Pua at 150 lbs, Guam’s Jared Mellon of Spike 22 and Ground Fu challenging independent Dung Castro at 175 lbs; and Josh “Chaos” Duenas facing Guam’s Josh “The Hedgehog” Duenas of Countershot MMA in a 135-lb bout.
All five bouts mentioned will precede Trench Warz 15’s heavyweight main event at 230 lbs between Trench Tech’s Mylo “Bam Bam” Lassiter (1-1) and Guam’s Manny “The Enforcer” Chong (8-8) of the Thug Cop Fight Club.
Before the Chong-Lassiter bout, Trench Tech’s Shane “Pikaboo” Alvarez (7-0) will step inside the octagon cage with his featherweight title on the line against Guam’s Rob “The Real Deal” Wusstig (2-5) of Countershot MMA.
Following the title bout and just before the heavyweight finale, Trench Tech’s Fasi “Quickdraw” Jesse (7-4) will duel with Marianas Elite’s Maitai “The Charger” Charley (3-7) in the semi-main event set at 145 lbs.
Other MMA matchups set for the evening include Zalaka’s Jake “One Blow” Ilo (0-1) going toe to toe with Tinian’s Craig “Earthquake” Borja (2-1) of Zeng Zung at 140 lbs; Zalaka’s Joe “Da Combo” Duenas (1-0) challenging Countershot newcomer Leandro “Leanderlai” Dalalo at 130 lbs; Trench Tech’s Mark “The Dark” Nuique (5-0) facing off with Predator Combat’s “Tabi” Jay Muna (2-10) at 135 lbs; and Trench Tech’s Martin “Ningbo Slice” Cepeda (3-1) squaring off against Countershot’s Keith Corpuz, of Guam, in a light heavyweight match set at 190 lbs.
Moreover, Zalaka’s John Ilo will be paired against Tinian’s Rentz “The Intense” Benghit of Team Relentless in a K-1 Kickboxing match at 145 lbs. and Ilo’s teammate Zac Reyes will take on Tinian-Zeng Zung’s George “Kamikaze” Manglona in a boxing match at 145 lbs.
All undercard bouts will take place under three 3-minute rounds, while the boxing and K-1 features will exhibit three two-minute rounds.
The main event matches will have three 5-minute rounds and the title match will have five 5-minute rounds.
