Christian Leemar Delos Santos, the son of the family that partly owns No Ka Oi Pest Control, has been reported missing after being last seen Saturday afternoon.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Travis Hurst said yesterday that DPS is asking the public’s assistance in locating the 22-year-old Delos Santos.

“Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of this individual is asked to call DPS at 664-9001 or Crime Stoppers at 234-7272,” Hurst said.

Saipan Tribune learned that Delos Santos works as a pest control technician at No Ka Oi. His father, Lee Delos Santos, a Hawaiian, passed away in 2006. His mother, Elena Delos Santos, is currently on vacation in the Philippines.

The Delos Santos family is part-owner of the pest control company.

Esther Alita said she last saw Delos Santos, who is her nephew, on Saturday afternoon when he sent money to his vacationing mother in the Philippines.

Alita said she checked her nephew’s apartment room in Garapan late afternoon yesterday and it’s still locked.

She said she does not know if he is inside the room or not, but he could not be there because the screen door is open. He said Delos Santos normally locks the screen door if he’s inside the room.

Marilyn Parnes, office manager of No Ka Oi, said that Delos Santos’ cell phone is off and he is not responding to the company-issued radio.

Parnes said that Delos Santos’ supposed duty last Friday was 1pm to 5pm, but he called that he would not report for work.

Parnes said that Delos Santos also did not report for work on Saturday.

She said on Thursday at lunch time, upon Delos Santos’ request, she dropped him off at First Hawaiian Bank in Gualo Rai. Parnes said Delos Santos has no car.

“He’s very responsible. If he wants to be absent, he would call our office,” Parnes said.
