Team Busch Nights tops Quiz Nite VI

Team Busch Nights was the champion during ASCNMI’s Quiz Nite VI held recently at the Fiesta Resort and Spa’s Hibiscus Room.

They took out Team Hokkaido and Team Ikaika, who settled for second place and third places, respectively. Team Hokkaido took the early lead, but lost it to Busch Nights around the third round with the category S.I.L.C. ASCNMI’s Quiz Nite VI was awesome and everyone had a good time.

It was reported wrong that Team Ikaika won Quiz Nite V. It was actually Team Beauties and the Beasts. This year Team Beauties and the Beasts did not show.

All in attendance were in agreement that the food was good and the teams were big, and one team even had two tables. There were raffle prizes, and all sorts of giveaways. Thank you to the following donors: D&Q Distributors, S.Y.P. and the Chamber, MarPac, Pacifica Insurance, and Godfather’s Bar.

Thank you to our judges Jeanne Rayphand, Jimmy Sablan, and Emet Fitial. Process observers were Cleo Nening and Ana Manibusan.

Thank you to Julie Pagcaliwagan, ASCNMI treasurer and Romeo Cuellar, ASCNMI vice president.

Organizers are gearing up for ASCNMI’s Quiz Nite 1 Tinian on April 22 from 6pm to 9pm at the Antonio Manglona Borja Amphitheatre. The Hot Dog Walk, Run and Roll, and Family Picnic will also take place on April 23 from 3:30pm to sunset at the Tachonga Park. Also on Tinian, the CNMI Office on Transportation Authority will be there to give out information!

ASCNMI’s Quiz Nite 1 Rota, meanwhile, will be held on May 6 from 6pm to 9pm at the Dr. Rita Inos Junior Senior High Cafeteria. The island’s Hot Dog Walk, Run, Roll, Mini-Marathon, and Family Fun Day are all set for May 7. The events will take place at the baseball field to the end of the pavement and back. (PR)
