Speaking on behalf of his family and staff, The Shack co-owner Glen Hunter said, “We are proud to once again be able to support one of [MINA’s] fundraising events.”
Hunter pointed out that, as a small local business, The Shack helps protect the environment by using reusable dishware and eco-friendly takeout containers, focusing on locally sourced produce, composting organic waste, supporting cleanup efforts, and donating to groups like MINA.
MINA executive director Roberta Guerrero said the continued support of businesses like The Shack makes MINA’s mission of empowering communities for conservation possible.
Tickets for the Gala are available now at the MINA office or from board members. Call MINA at 233-7333 for more information. (PR)
