Topnotch relocates to Quartermaster

Topnotch, a longtime supplier of trophies, plaques, and medals, has relocated from Chinatown to Quartermaster Road.

The company said they decided to move to a new location after their former landlord decided to renovate the office building they used to lease.

Topnotch made the move just this past June and management said they couldn’t be happier with their new office as it has more space for the business and more parking slots for customers.

The company promises to provide the same kind of exemplary service and expert craftsmanship at its new location.

Management said the most fulfilling part of running a company like Topnotch is becoming part of the success of the people of the CNMI.

“We are in the business of supplying trophies, plaques, and medals so in a way we share in that person or group’s success indirectly and we’re always proud of that,” it said.

Through the years, Topnotch has also been entrusted with secrets only a select few know, as the supplier of the awards, trophies, plaques, and medals.

“Sometimes people would call us asking who is the valedictorian of this particular school or who won employee of the year of this agency or company, but we keep that information with strict confidentiality,” management said.

Like any other business on island, the combination of Super Typhoon Yutu and government austerity measures has also negatively affected Topnotch’s sales the past few months. Another challenge Topnotch constantly faces are rushed orders. Ideally, they need a full week to meet an order. However, there have been instances in the past that gave them only a few hours. “We had to do it since we value our clients and just work doubly hard to fulfill the orders.”

Topnotch has been around since 1993 starting off as a clothes boutique shop before becoming a supplier of trophies, plaques, and medals in 1998.

For the past 20 years Topnotch has supplied the award needs of the CNMI government, Public School System, Saipan Little League, McDonald’s All-Schools Track and Field Championships, Northern Mariana Islands Football Association, Tumon Bay Music Festival, Northern Marianas Sports Association, and TanHoldings.

Topnotch is open from Monday to Friday, 9am-12 and 1pm-5pm, and Saturday 10am-12 and 1pm-4pm. It is closed on Sundays.

For orders and for more information, call Topnotch at 233-2200.
