With the spirit of Thanksgiving at the Saipan Municipal Council, acting mayor Antonia Tudela expressed thanks and gave insights on her current role as mayor.
“I would like to wish a happy Thanksgiving to all communities on island as well as all the people because this is a great day. So far as acting mayor, I am very happy and am enjoying helping the people. I’m just here to follow whatever the mayor wishes to do, since he has pending things to be done, and I can see the community is happy with what he is doing,” she said.
“Right now, I’m taking care of the mayor’s place as well as the municipal council but everything is going well with the help of the staff. They are very good people. I found out that they are very willing to assist the community whenever they can,” Tudela said. “I’m asking the people that if they have anything in mind, please call the Mayor’s Office, I’m always ready to assist them.
Tudela explained that everything is under control with the projects—the churches, roads, and the overall beautification of the island—that she has been entrusted with.
