Veterans invited to a Fireside Chat on Sunday
Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang and the Northern Marianas Humanities Council are inviting CNMI veterans to participate in a “Fireside Chat” to be held at the Carolinian Utt on Sunday, March 13, beginning at 6pm.
This event will allow younger veterans to meet and share experiences with older veterans in an enjoyable and informal setting.
In addition to sharing experiences, participating veterans will be provided with an overview of services and benefits to which they are entitled.
Veterans will also be invited to participate in a related event that will allow them to relate their individual experiences through stories and photos.
Selected stories and photos will be displayed in a traveling exhibit to be launched on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2016.
