Legalize pot for the right reasons

Share

I had read an article a couple days ago in regards to marijuana legalization. Recently, the neighboring island of Guam has legalized marijuana for much needed funds but what has Saipan done? Nothing, wala, or in the native tongues, taya or esor.

To make a long story short, let’s not use our sick people as an excuse to generate needed funds because it can never work. I say let’s use our tourism and crime rate as an excuse, you know? When we legalize it for recreational use, we should have strict enforcement and at least have a plan in place to maybe improve our health, safety and education system once the money start rolling in. I don’t think looking to the sick will answer our problems.
