Prisoners protest; set fire at DOC

A group of prisoners set a fire in the Division of Corrections' main facility at around 8:45 p.m. yesterday to protest the temporary suspension of their privileges as a result of the prison lockdown imposed following the Easter Sunday jailbreak.

2 escapees surrender

It was like a scene from a movie. Convicted felons Jesse James Camacho, 20, and Kurt M. Taisacan, 22, simply walked in to the Department of Public Safety and surrendered themselves apparently afraid of the consequences of their escape after they were tagged as armed and dangerous.
