Rota municipal officials have added their voice in support of legislation amending the gun control law in the CNMI in a bid to encourage establishment of "shooting resorts" on the islands, saying it will provide much-needed boost to their economy.

DEQ seeks solution to keep Saipan lagoon clean

Division of Environmental Quality Director Ignacio V. Cabrera has asked the House Committee on Natural Resources for assistance in maintaining water quality in the lagoon by finding solution to sewage and drainage discharges.
