Eggheads, Scrapshooters take lead in Asahi beach volleyball

Action at the Asahi Four Person Beach Volleyball League has been nonstop since games every Tuesday and Thursday started last Feb. 13. At least 12 teams participated in the league. All games are played at the Pacific Islands Club and will run until the second week of April.

Saipan Little League opens on Saturday

The Saipan Little League will kick off its 2001Baseball Season on Saturday with the confirmed participation of 12 Little League teams ages 9-12, six Junior League teams ages 13-14, four Senior League teams ages 14-16 and two Big League teams ages 16-18.

SCS to hold 5K Fun Run Race

The Saipan Community School is planning to have its annual 5K Fun Run Race on March 17. The purpose of this race is to raise money for SCS classrooms and involve the whole community in a fun activity for the whole family.
