Malite estate brings case to High Court

After failing to have attorney general Pamela Brown’s lawsuit dismissed, the Malite estate brought the matter before the Supreme Court and asked the court to enforce the decision of the Marianas Public Lands Authority to pay some $3.45 million as land compensation to the estate.

Marianas to get 43K visitors

Saipan and Guam are expected to receive 7 percent of the over 600,000 Japanese tourists who will be traveling outside their country during this year’s Golden Week, according to a report by a top travel management agency in Japan.
