Soldiers eager to reunite with families

The majority of the troops from the 100th Battalion, 442D Infantry, Echo Company and an attachment from Bravo company, made up of soldiers from Guam and the CNMI, arrived earlier in the month at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu Hawaii.

Susupe Lake cleanup continues for MOVER

Volunteers from non-profit group MOVER got surprised that the trash they found within the mangrove area by the road leading to the Susupe Lake included not just household, but also other wastes—used tires, a junk vehicle, and junk appliances such as refrigerator.

If it’s good for Saipan, it’s good for Guam

I heard the new governor of Saipan, Gov. Benigno R. Fitial’s radio interview concerning a solid waste system. This system, I believe is called Palingenesis, converts solid waste into building materials and fertilizer at little expense.
