Misunderstandings about repeal of Article 12

It seems to me that one of the misunderstandings about repealing Article 12 is that land would be gone—sold. This is not the case. It is up to the individual not to sell at all. Repealing Article 12 will not force anyone to do anything he or she does not want to do.

Marine ordnance survey on FDM

The Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas Guam, said the U.S. military is conducting marine ordnance survey on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla from until Oct. 11, 2008, from 12am to 11:59pm. The activity began on Oct. 6.
