Historical Society expands program for needy children

The Northern Marianas Judiciary Historical Society, a non-profit corporation, has expanded to Tinian and Rota its campaign to provide essential school supplies to needy public school students.

DHS’ Customs Division eyes station office at airport departure building

The Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Division is planning to set up an office at the airport after it inquired with the Commonwealth Ports Authority about space availability, according to CPA executive director Efrain S. Camacho yesterday.

NMPASI wants to keep Family Hope Center

If the cycle grant for the Family Hope Center is renewed, the Northern Marianas Protection & Advocacy Systems Inc. will push for the permanent operation of the program under its supervision, according to executive director Jim Rayphand.

Aqua rallies past World Resort, Hyatt wins

Gil Gapor drilled 13 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter to lift Aqua Resort Club to a 91-89 victory over Saipan World Resort in the 2009 Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino Invitational Basketball League Monday night at the Tinian Municipal Gymnasium.
