Fund’s crisis management plan underway

The NMI Retirement Fund board of trustees urged administrator Richard Villagomez on Thursday to expedite the completion of a crisis management plan that will provide a detailed preparation on how the agency can survive during the expected worst state of the pension program.

Disposal of electronic waste at transfer station, Marpi dump on hold until Oct. 1

Effective immediately, the Lower Base Refuse Transfer Station and the Marpi Landfill will not accept the disposal of electronic wastes or e-wastes until the Department of Public Works’ Solid Waste Management Division established the disposal rates by Oct. 1, 2011.
