Bangladesh community to mark Victory Day

The Bangladesh community on Saipan will celebrate their country’s Victory Day on Dec. 16, Monday, at the American Memorial Park Visitors Center Theater, from 6:30pm to 10pm. There will be a program that will feature songs, dances, and other performances.

Man who allegedly beat up wife found in possession of ‘ice’

Police arrested a 37-year-old man who allegedly choked and punched his common-law wife in front of their 2-year-old son on Monday. He was also allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine or “ice.”
