Group sets fun run with cultural twist
It’s a fun sprint with a twist as I NÅPU hosts its family-friendly event, the Tattiyi T Nåpu CULTURE: Run-Walk-Push this Oct. 14.
Since the event is meant to honor the CNMI’s Commonwealth Cultural Day, participants will be wearing their best traditional garb before starting en route from Micro Beach to the American Memorial Park outdoor amphitheater.
The event will be held from 4pm to 9pm that day. It costs $10 to join and ticket sales have already started and will be available for purchase before the event at The Shack or at Pacific Supply. Upon purchasing a ticket, participants on event day will be eligible to win prizes in categories such as “best time,” “best outfit,” and “most original,” and will also be handed a giveaway and a ticket to enter a separate raffle. There will be prizes, refreshments, information booths, and more. I NÅPU is inviting community members to join this event.
