Guam Board of Accountancy donates $400K to UOG Endowment

The Guam Board of Accountancy recently delivered its latest contribution of $400,000 to the UOG Endowment Foundation in support of the School of Business and Public Administration at the University of Guam.

From 2014 through 2023, GBOA has generously contributed a total of $4.3 million for the school’s Guam Accountancy Endowment Fund to benefit the Senator Herminia Dierking and John Phillips Visiting Accounting Professor and Lecturer Program.

UOG president Anita Borja Enriquez gave special recognition to the GBOA during the pre-investiture cocktail reception for Enriquez at the Crowne Plaza Resort Guam on Nov. 8, 2023.

“The Guam Board of Accountancy is a wonderful supporter of the efforts to grow the university’s capacity to provide a solid education for future accountants,” said Enriquez. “On behalf of our students, we are sincerely grateful for the steadfast support of GBOA over the decade.”

Last year, UOG launched the Master of Accountancy Program, an online graduate program for working professionals aiming to be Certified Public Accountants. (UOG)
