A wonderful experience
After two years of being busy, too tired because of working I decided to attend the hotel street market. It was a wonderful way to spend my Thursday night.
With family and meeting friends there, I enjoyed the different groups that danced, but I loved the last group the most.
They had so much fun dancing, the music was beautiful and the men dancing wearing red cloth reminded me of good times in the past and how important it is to keep the traditions that is part of the people of this island.
It is okay to dance different dances of different islands. But to dance to songs that have been handed down through the years by the many talented songwriters both in the past and present is priceless. Keep up the good work.
