Airport temper tantrums
I have flown Delta business class to Japan several times over the last few months. I have been angered at Delta’s policy to forbid use of its business class lounges to Saipan ticketed passengers.
I have written to Delta about this, asking why such a policy exists and why they don’t have a pop-up so advising you when you book online.
Other than to advise me that, “we are sorry that you feel you have been discriminated against on the basis of your race,” an issue I never raised, their customer relations department will not answer the questions. Why are all of my adult temper tantrums in airports?

If you fly business class, and there is no connecting flight so you are required to overnight to get the next flight the next day, you do get access to the Lounge. We do anyway.
Why not check with Chris Conception the local Delta manager. We did and the issue was resolved to our satisfation ( the first time what you described happened to us, Chris gave 20,000 miles each and promised to resolve the problem). And, he did.
