I noticed the Nauru building solar farm going up and Eric van der Maas says it will provide 90-plus percent of the entire building’s power. CHC, and a lot of other government buildings, has a lot of roof area. I’m not an expert but don’t the feds have a pretty good program of financing alternative energy programs? Let’s see what your in-house experts say, assuming, of course that anyone there knows what I’m talking about.

Unfortunately, the largest federal subsidies for solar power were allowed to expire in 2012. That being said, a grid integrated commercial installation can now pay for itself in less than 10 years.
