Asan Beach site assessment

Park Officials at the War in the Pacific National Historical Park in Guam said that from March 23 to 29, 2009, the USA Environmental, Inc., working in association with Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific, will be conducting a site assessment of the reef flat area of the Asan Beach Unit.

Contractors will be on site with vehicles and personal watercraft as a safety measure along the Asan beach. Park Officials advise the public to maintain a safe distance from contractors and their equipment to ensure the assessment is completed in a safe and timely manner.

The public is further advised that vehicles are not allowed beyond the parking areas and that the use of personal watercraft is prohibited in coastal areas within park boundaries. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B]
