BREAKING NEWS: DPS confirms body found in Marpi was missing Taitano

Department of Public Safety acting spokesman Lt. Jason Tarkong confirmed this afternoon, Tuesday, that the body found this morning at the bottom of a cliffline near the radar tower in Marpi was that of the missing Joan Taitano.

Search teams found Taitano’s body this morning, a day after patrol police found her abandoned car by the radar building.

She has been missing since Thursday.
