A tropical storm watch is now in effect for Guam and Rota.
Tropical Depression 16W is poorly organized, so changes in intensity are possible, according to the latest advisory from the National Weather Service in Guam.
“Tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 mph or more, are possible late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Continue to expect winds, showers, and thunderstorms to increase across the Marianas around Tuesday, continuing into Tuesday night,” the advisory states. (PR)
