Another Customs officer charged

In its latest campaign to stamp out smuggling in the Northern Marianas, the government on Friday filed charges of theft by extortion, bribery and misconduct in public office against Raymond B. Borja, the third officer of the Division of Customs to be linked in the illegal activity.

Korean Air to resume service in July

Korean Airlines may begin its Seoul-Saipan direct flight by July as soon as it has taken corrective measures to resolve some safety issues and given approval by the Ministry of Transportation, according to Dave M. Sablan, board chairman of the Marianas Visitors Authority.
