PSS travels cost $400K •“This looked like we satisfied ourselves first.”

The Public School System has spent $417,256.76 for travels from October 1997 to December 1998, and Board of Education members say this does not speak well of the school system at this time when the education budget is running short.

A troubled and bothersome thought

The other day, I visited the Smiling Cove Marina to see how cruise boats are doing in terms of the number of tourists headed to Managaha Island. I noticed a slight improvement since last November and held on to my suspect hope that tourism would see brighter days this year.
