A must Battle Cry for the NMI

Local leadership must come to grips with the fact that unless we untangle strangling investment laws and regulations, there really won't be much hope in our efforts to encourage expansion and fresh investments to the islands over the next year or millennium.

902 talks on track again •On-again, off-again consultations resume Jan. 18

President Bill Clinton's special representative to the Section 902 consultations, Edward B. Cohen, will be arriving in the Northern Marianas on Jan. 18, 1999 to finally find solution to problems that have strained CNMI-US relations.
