Closing the barn after…
What will a $1,000 gun tax on law-abiding citizens do to curb lawlessness amongst the cities that allow felons and the like to purchase illegal weapons from those that have obtained them themselves illegally? This is tantamount to closing the barn door after the cattle, the horses, the sheep, the pigs, the chickens, have long since been eaten by the same such felons.
